Lower Level Sideline

- Sideline seating on the lower level is made up of the best seats at the Cotton Bowl. Sections 6 and 24 are directly at midfield and behind the player benches. The home team bench is on the SW side of the stadium behind sections 5-7, while the visiting team is on the opposite end of the field. There are a limited number of chairback seats located in the middle rows of Section 6. To most, these are the best seats at the Cotton Bowl. They'll have the sun setting behind them, they'll have the luxury of a seatback and the view of the field can't be beat. With the entrance to each section located at the top, fans sitting in the lower rows will have the longest walk to their seats. In some cases, this hike could be as many as 60 rows of stairs.

At Cotton Bowl Stadium, in Row 1 Section 5, can you see over the players?

Unlike most newer stadiums, the lower bowl seating at the Cotton Bowl is not elevated enough to see over the players. Fans are almost at field level when in their seats, and most fans seated in the lower sideline sections have to stand to see the game.

We recommend higher number rows (30+) for better sitelines and to be close to the concourse tunnel.

Due to the shape of the sections, the number of seats in each row will change as you move up and down the section. Therefore the seat numbers located on the aisle will change depending on which row you are in. Seat 1 will always be located on the aisle on the right side of the section. For the left aisle, lower rows will end at seat 24 and the upper rows will end with seat 32.
