Section 18 at Cotton Bowl Stadium

- Corner seating in the lower level gives impressive diagonal views of the field for fans seated in rows 20 and higher. Fans seated in lower rows may have difficulty seeing across the field, though the first row in Sections 12, 18, 30 and 36 are among the closest seats to the field in any football venue. For the best experience, choose seats in Sections 18-20 or 10-12 to get a view of the scoreboard on the SE side of the stadium. Avoid seats in Sections 28-30 if you are sensitive to the sun. 

(2026 Review) - Lower Level: Texas seating includes Sections 7-23.  Upper Level: Texas fans are also seated in Sections 107-127.  Midfield Sections: Sections 6 and 24 in the lower level, along with Sections 106 and 128 in the upper level, are split evenly between Texas and Oklahoma fans.  Seat Tip: Some lower-level sections include bleacher seats with backs, while most upper-level seats are standard bleachers without backs.  Who Should Sit Here  These sections are ideal for Texas fans who want to be surrounded by fellow Longhorns supporters during the Red River Showdown. If you're looking for a true Texas fan atmosphere, choosing one of the dedicated Texas sections provides the best experience.  Texas Seating Details  Texas seating is divided between the lower and upper levels of the Cotton Bowl. The lower level includes Sections 7-23, while the upper level includes Sections 107-127. Midfield Sections 6, 24, 106, and 128 are shared evenly between Texas and Oklahoma fans.  Seating with Backs  In Sections 7-11, all rows above Row 17 have bleacher seats with backs.  Seats with backs begin at Row 14 in Section 10, Row 10 in Section 9, Row 6 in Section 8, and Row 3 in Section 7.  In the upper level, the first five rows of Sections 115-119 have seat backs. All other upper-level Texas sections feature bleacher seating without backs.
