Student Section
Looking towards the North end of Camp Randall Stadium. Most seats here are part of the Student Section.
On the north side of the field on the lower level is the Student Section for Wisconsin football. This area will be occupied by many rowdy Badger fans throughout the game and should be avoided if you do not want to experience a party atmosphere. If you're sitting near these seats at the beginning of the 4th quarter, there's a good chance you'll feel your seat rumble!
The view of the near endzone is good from this perspective, but fans in this area typically do not care very much about the view, they just want a great atmosphere. There are about 65 numbered rows of seating in each section.

Seats that are well covered on the lower level may have their views disrupted by the overhang. Monitors help guests see replays.
The upper deck provides cover in the higher rows of sections near midfield on the west side of the stadium - including D, E and F.
Less than 10% of seats at Camp Randall Stadium offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. To search for tickets or to find out if your seats are protected from the sun or rain, follow the link for the seat finder.
Corner seating in the lower bowl features some of the best angles towards midfield. Sitting near Row 30 in these sections will let you take advantage of this angle by giving you enough elevation to see the entire field.
Section P is one of the sunniest sections in the stadium, so you may want to avoid sitting there on a hot day (or just the opposite on a cold day).
Lower Deck Endzone Seating
Behind the South endzone on the lower level of seating is the Lower Deck Endzone seating location. This location is as far away from the student section as possible on the lower level, so it is a good area to sit if you want to try and avoid the notoriously passionate Wisconsin student body.
Fans in this area will have a great view of the south endzone that is directly in front of them, but you may have a somewhat difficult time seeing the opposite end of the field. The lack of elevation from being on the lower level makes it difficult to see the action nearing the north endzone. Fortunately, these seats do have the best head-on view of the videoboard in that direction.
Lower Deck Sideline Seating
The best seats at Camp Randall Stadium are found along the sidelines in the lower level. The best views are found in Rows 30-50 where you get enough elevation to see both sides of the field, and you have just a short walk to the section tunnel.
If you're seated in Row 55 or higher on the west side of the field, you have a good chance of being covered by the overhang, which will keep you dry in the event of rain or snow. Just be careful - if you sit in one of the top rows, your view may be slightly obstructed by the upper deck overhang. In these rare cases, videoscreens are set up to aid your view.
Sections Q-W are on the sunny side of the field. On warm days and days with plenty of sunshine, you'll want to be sure to apply sunblock and bring a hat and sunglasses.
All seats in the lower level of Camp Randall Stadium are bench-style seats without a back. Many of the seats can be seen with chairbacks that season ticketholders have placed at their seats.
Upper Deck Seating
The west side of Camp Randall Stadium features two decks of seating. Above the lower level is a large upper deck with sections labeled with two letters. The best of these sections are EE, FF and GG located at midfield. Besides for the superb view, these sections only contain about 20 rows of seating with the concourse tunnel located near the middle of each section. The placement of this tunnel makes it easy to get to and from the concourse quickly. Ticketholders will also find cover in rows 19-22 in these sections - a rare perk for upper deck seating.
Corner in the upper deck are usually the cheapest ticket for Badgers games. These sections feature up to 44 rows of seating and are a magnet for the wind and cold weather. The highest rows in Sections AA and LL don't offer much of an enclosure, so you'll want to bundle up for home games in November.
