Tampa Bay Rays Holding Postgame Concerts August 17-18

Looking for something to do this weekend in the Tampa Bay area? Watch the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Toronto Blue Jays with postgame performances featuring One Republic and Victoria Justice.

On Saturday, August 17, One Republic will perform following the conclusion of the 7:10 p.m. game. Victoria Justice will wrap up the weekend with a performance on Sunday, August 18, immediately following the conclusion of the 1:40 p.m. game.

The postgame concerts are free to all who have purchased a game ticket. All concert guests must have a game ticket in order to attend the postgame concert. If a guest wishes to get on the field to view the concert, they have the option of purchasing a concert wristband for an additional $20, which grants permission to step onto the field after the conclusion of the game. The wristbands are general admission with no assigned seating. If a guest does not purchase a concert wristband but wishes to stay for the concert after the game, they will have to view the concert in the same seats they purchased for the baseball game. Now, which seats would be best for viewing both the concert AND the game? The stage is located in center field, facing home plate. Sections 127, 128, 129 and 130 are located near the outfield, offering a good view of the field to watch the game in addition to being fairly close to the stage to view the concert. Though infield seats are great for watching the game, the stage is a bit far in center field and may not be the best seats for viewing the concert. Guests sitting in the bleachers for the game will not have a view of the concert at all, as the back of the stage will be facing them. Below is a photo of the stage for a previous concert held at Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays.
