Billy Bob's Texas, located in Fort Worth, is widely acclaimed as "The World's Largest Honky Tonk."
Established by Billy Bob Barnett, a Texas A&M University graduate and in collaboration with Spencer
Taylor, a nightclub owner and former car salesman, this iconic country music nightclub found its home in
an abandoned 100,000-square-foot department store that had once served as an open-air cattle barn.
Opening its doors to the public on April 1, 1981, Billy Bob's Texas has since become a legendary venue,
renowned for live performances by top-tier country artists, lively dancing, and an authentic Texas
honky-tonk atmosphere.
