RYS Expert Reviews

Benchmark International Club

(2026 Review) - Second-Tier Location: Situated between the Mark Club sections and the Loge Boxes on the arena's second tier.  Sections 201–219: Club Level runs across both sides of the arena, with 201 and 216 landing right at center ice.  Private Club Concourse: Access to a dedicated club concourse with premium local fare, room to hang out, and multiple bars.  Good to Know: These seats do not include in-seat wait service or all-inclusive benefits — it's a modest upgrade, not a full-service premium area.  Great Sight Lines: Elevated viewing height delivers comfortable looks at both ends of the ice, especially for Lightning games.  Who Should Sit Here  The Benchmark International Club at Benchmark International Arena is ideal for fans who want a slight step up from regular seating without paying for all the bells and whistles of an all-inclusive area. You get elevated sight lines and access to a private club concourse, making it a comfortable middle ground for Lightning games and other events.  Benchmark International Club Seating Details  The Club Level sits on the second tier of Benchmark International Arena, positioned between the Mark Club sections and the Loge Boxes. Seating spans both sides of the arena, running from the center-ice sections 201 and 216 out to the corner sections. Ticketholders have access to the private club level concourse.  Views from the Benchmark International Club  The elevated height of the second tier provides excellent viewing angles and clean sight lines. Center-ice sections 201 and 216 offer balanced views of both ends of the ice, while the corner sections still deliver strong club-level perspective from farther down the arena.  What's on the Club Level  Private Concourse: A club-only concourse with space to relax between periods.  Food & Drink: Premium local fare and multiple bars (not all-inclusive; no in-seat wait service).  Best Seats & Bargain Picks  For the best seats in this zone, target sections 201 and 216 — center ice on both sides, where the elevated height and prime angle combine for some of the best views in the house. If you want club access for less, look to the corner sections such as 210–212 and 205–207, which often sell for a fraction of the center-ice price while still including all the same club benefits.

Seating and Ticket Q&A

  • Is Section 217 at Amalie Arena considered "center ice"?

In the 200 level at Amalie Arena, sections 201 and 216 span the red line and are considered center ice sections. These seats typically command top dollar for Lightning games.

    200 level sightlines
Seat 1 in Section 217 is just a few seats away from dead center ice

Section 217 is just to the left of 216 and spans the blue line on the side of the ice where the opponents shoot twice. Seats 1 and 2 in the section are aisle seats closest to Section 216 and will be between the blue line and the red line. So while not exactly center ice, these are excellent seats for a hockey game.
