RYS Expert Reviews
Upper Balcony
- Upper balcony seats are elevated more than any other seating area, however the seats in the front row sit just as close as seats in the front row of the lower balcony just below. Given the higher viewing position, Upper Balcony seats are generally the best place to find a cheap ticket for a show at the Beacon Theatre. Upper Balcony sections range between 3 to 9 lettered rows of seating in each, with Row F always located at the front of the section.

Kinda of obstructed, can still see Can definitely still see but have to be near edge of seat, not sat back, so not totally obstructed. Seats 2-6 and 20-26 in row J are fine. Theatre is small enough that you can still see from balcony.

Seating and Ticket Q&A
How is UBALC1 or C2 row J?
Row J would actually be a good row to sit in at the UBALC1 or C2, because it is right above the tunnel entrance. This row gives you a good enough vantage point to see over the railing and a good view of the stage. The only downside would be if people are walking across the walkway between the Upper and Lower balcony sections. However, when the show is going on everyone will probably in their seats.
