Ascend Amphitheater is the Music City's favorite outdoor concert venue. With views of the skyline, bridges and surrounding area, its beauty doesn't disappoint.
When looking at concert tickets at Ascend Amp, there are three primary options: Reserved Seating, Box Seats and Lawn tickets. Each of these options offers a different experience and a different price point.
Reserved seating is made up of numbered sections. This includes 1-3 near the stage and 101-103 at the back. Guests with a reserved ticket will have an assigned row and seat.
Sections 1-3 are commonly referred to as the Orchestra. Occasionally the seats from this area will be removed and it will become a General Admission Pit. When this is the case, standing spaces are first-come, first-serve.
There is no covered seating at Ascend Amphitheater, but the front sections are shaded first in the afternoon and evenings.
If being in the shade is not important, sections 101-103 are directly behind the front sections and offer an inexpensive alternative.
VIP Box Seats are located directly behind reserved seating. This semi-private area is slightly raised and offers more legroom and comfort than regular seating.
Tickets in the boxes are rarely available for single-event purchases and amenities vary from show-to-show.
Finding Cheap Tickets
The cheapest tickets are almost always found on the Lawn. This is a general admission with no seats.
Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville is a completely open-air venue. This allows concert-goers to get great views of downtown Nashville. Unfortunately, this also means that guests will be exposed to the elements.
For fans looking to avoid the sun as much as possible - consider seats at the front of Section 1. These are the first seats to be shaded as the sun starts setting behind the stage.
Attendees are advised that all shows are rain or shine. Except for the case of severe weather, concerts will continue even if it is raining or cold. Guests should dress appropriately and leave their umbrellas in the car (they are not allowed in the venue).
