Who Should Sit Here

Reserved seating is ideal for fans who want a guaranteed seat, protection from the elements, and a more structured concert experience. This is the best option for those deciding between proximity (Orchestra) and value (Upper Reserved) while avoiding general admission areas like the Lawn or Pit.

Reserved Seating Location & Details

At Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, most guests who are not seated on the Lawn will be in one of two reserved seating areas: the Orchestra Sections (1–3) or the Upper Reserved Sections (101–105). Each area offers a different balance of distance, price, and overall experience.

Orchestra Sections (13)

The Orchestra sections are the closest reserved seats to the stage, located directly behind the Pit.

Each section typically features around 30 rows of lettered seating, with Row A beginning immediately behind the Pit area. These sections offer a strong alternative to Pit tickets, providing close proximity while allowing fans to remain seated.

One important consideration is that the Orchestra seating area is relatively flat. While views are unobstructed in theory, it can become difficult to see over fans in front — especially in the middle and back rows. For the best experience, choosing seats closer to the front of the section is recommended.

Upper Reserved (Sections 101105)

The Upper Reserved sections provide a more affordable option while still offering assigned seating and coverage.

These sections are positioned behind the Orchestra and are typically the cheapest reserved tickets available. Despite the lower price point, the front rows are still relatively close — with the front row sitting roughly 40 rows from the stage.

These seats are especially appealing for fans who want:

  • A guaranteed seat

  • Protection from weather under the pavilion roof

However, if those benefits are not a priority, the Lawn may offer a more cost-effective alternative.

Views from Reserved Seating

Views in the Orchestra are closer and more immersive, while Upper Reserved sections provide a more elevated and relaxed perspective.

Across both areas, row selection plays a major role. Seats closer to the front will generally offer better sightlines, especially given the flatter layout of the venue.

Other Considerations

  • Both reserved areas are covered by the pavilion roof

  • Orchestra sections offer better proximity but can have sightline challenges in back rows

  • Upper Reserved sections offer strong value, especially in front rows

  • Choosing a lower row in any section will typically improve the overall experience
