Features & Amenities

Last verified and reviewed:

  • Closest to the Stage: Floor seats put you nearest the performance, with Sections 1 and 2 right up against the stage on standard setups.
  • Typically 10 Sections: Most standard seated shows run about 10 floor sections, though the exact layout changes show by show.
  • Folding Chairs, Flat Floor: Seating is temporary folding chairs at stage level with no steps between rows, so sightlines can be a challenge behind taller fans.
  • Layout Varies by Show: Not every concert uses an end-stage setup — always check your event's seating chart before buying.
  • Possible Pit or GA: Some shows replace seats with standing Pit or General Admission Floor sections.

Who Should Sit Here

Floor seats at Amerant Bank Arena are for concert fans who want to be as close to the action as possible. If proximity to the stage matters more than an elevated, unobstructed angle, this is the area to target — especially the front sections. Just know the floor is flat, so where you land within it makes a real difference.

Floor Seating Details

The floor sits at stage level on the arena floor and, for standard seated shows, is typically divided into about 10 sections, with Sections 1 and 2 closest to the stage. Seating is temporary folding chairs. Rows are labeled with letters, with A at the front of each section. Seat 1 is on the right of every section as you face the stage, with numbers increasing as you move left. Configurations vary from performer to performer, so view the specific concert seating chart for your event before purchasing. Some shows feature Pit or General Admission Floor sections instead — open, seatless areas where ticket holders can stand anywhere in the section, and the closest spots typically go to those who arrive early.

Views from the Floor Seats

Up front in Sections 1 and 2, you're right on top of the performance. As you move back through Sections 3–5, views get further away and less desirable. Because there are no steps between rows, fans compete with those in front of them for clear sight lines, so a taller person ahead of you can block your view.

Good to Know

Check the concert seating chart for a B-stage or runway extending out from the main stage. When one is present, fans seated further back on the floor may get an up-close moment for a few songs as the performer moves down it — a reason a rear floor seat can still pay off.

Okay, but couldn’t see much of the stage due to others standing. — It was relatively nice, but people were standing up the entire concert, so being far back in the floor really wasn’t the best, but you’ll still have a lot of fun! If you can go in the aisle you’ll get a better view, just don’t let the security guards catch you.

Disturbed with Daughtry - Apr 18, 2025 — Couldn’t see anything once people came into the first section. Because it is the first row, there is plenty of room to dance. A lot of people were using cell phones to take long videos so that obstructed views as well.
