Open Grassy Area: A 5,000-capacity sloped grass berm located at the rear of the venue, providing plenty of space to spread out.    Laid Back & Relaxed Atmosphere: Offers a casual, social environment perfect for families and large groups.    General Admission on Blankets: Seating is first-come, first-served; blankets are the standard, though low-profile rental chairs are often available.    Riverside Skyline Backdrop: Positioned to offer direct views of the Grand Rapids skyline behind the stage as the sun sets.    Who Should Sit Here  The GA Lawn is designed for fans who want the most flexible and affordable concert experience. It is the go-to choice for those who prefer the freedom to move around, socialize, and enjoy a picnic-style atmosphere over being confined to a fixed seat. If you are attending with a large group of friends or looking for a budget-friendly night out under the stars, this is your section. It is not recommended for those who want to be close to the artist or those who require overhead cover, as this entire area is open to the elements.  Lawn Location & Layout  The lawn at Acrisure Amphitheater anchors the back of the house, situated directly behind the 300-level reserved seating.  Riverside Positioning: The venue is built along the Grand River, and the lawn sits at the highest elevation of the seating bowl. This height ensures that sightlines remain clear over the pavilion roof.    Open-Air Design: Unlike the fixed seating areas, 100% of the lawn is uncovered. While a massive canopy covers the stage and the majority of the reserved seats, the lawn remains a true open-air, "outdoor" experience.    Logistics: The lawn is easily accessible via multiple entrances, including a dedicated gate that flows in from the new riverfront trail.    Lawn View Breakdown  Views from the Lawn at Acrisure Amphitheater are unobstructed, but they come with distance from the stage.  Clear Sightlines (No Poles or Beams): Thanks to the venue’s no-obstruction design, pavilion support pillars are positioned at the far edges of the structure. From the lawn, you won’t have to worry about steel beams or structural elements blocking your view.  Distant from the Stage: The tradeoff for affordability and flexibility is proximity. The Lawn sits at the highest and farthest point in the venue, so performers will appear small to the naked eye—especially if you’re near the back of the berm. You’ll be relying more on the full-stage view rather than facial detail.  Elevated Perspective: Because the Lawn is built on a raised berm, you’re looking down into the pavilion rather than straight ahead. This elevation helps reduce the “heads in the way” issue that can happen at flatter venues, giving most fans a cleaner overall view of the stage.  Overall, the Lawn delivers a wide, unobstructed view of the entire production, but it’s best suited for fans who are comfortable being farther from the action.
