Very cold and windy...decent view

Jun 2019

Baseball Review
Section 426, Row 9, Seats 7-8

These seats were at the top row in the upper level. There's a fence behind you but you can see out the street. Unfortunately, it was windy early in the game which made those seats super cold. Luckily, it warmed up as the game went on. The view was pretty decent for a top row seat and you could see mostly everything. The overhang above you is pretty low which blocks the video board in left field which stinks, but you could see the center and right field boards decently well. Overall, not bad, but nothing great about these seats.

Not the Best Seats

Baseball Review
Section 426, Row 9, Seat 110

There are some seats in this section that aren't that bad. But being in Row 6 or higher in Section 532 and 530 means you're behind a mini scoreboard. That plus the pole blocking part of the outfield makes for not-so-great seats. It's also super-windy up this high. This was the last row in the section and you really feel the breeze. Stairs getting up here are really tall and probably not doable for young kids. Cool views of downtown Chicago behind you at least.

  • Upper Reserved

    -

The highest seating tier at Wrigley Field are the Upper Reserved sections which includes all 400 sections labeled 403-431. Each section is made up of nine steep rows that sit above the Upper Boxes on the 300 level. Sections are split up into two main groupings.  The Upper Reserved Infield is sections 409-426. Like the name suggests, seats here will have elevated views over the infield. While not the most desirable seats in the stadium, they are more desirable than the other group of seats called the Upper Reserved Outfield in sections 403-408 and 427-431.  Important Seating Information All Upper Reserved sections have poles that create obstructed views for fans in these seats. Obstructions vary by seat, but when purchasing tickets in these seats it should be assumed that a pole will be blocking some area on the field.  The only unobstructed row is Row 1, but these seats are just above the upper level's walkway where fans passing by can be a distraction. The good thing about the poles is they support the roof overhead which provides outstanding shade and cover to keep fans protected. The "L" and "R" designate the side of the field the section is located on. Fans should go up the ramps on the designated side of the field for easier access to their seats.

Seat 101 had a pole directly in front of it :( Otherwise, great seats in first row behind the walkway and great view! Try to avoid seat 101, unless you HAVE to have an aisle seat.

  • "Knee crushing obstructed views"

    (Section 429) - -

This could be the worst seat I have ever been in at Wrigley Field. The view of home plate and batters box is completely obstructed by a support pillar just in front of Aisle 536 Row 1 Seat 1. You can also forget about seeing any action down the right field line as the seats in the 400 level below ...
