The person who designed this venue and said it was great for concerts should have their license revoked! This seat is so high I spent the entire time clinging to my seat with my eyes closed in mortal fear that I was going to pitch forward and fall over the balcony to my death. There is absolutely no leg room - I could not move my legs and ended up getting major cramps - there is more room in coach class on a commercial airplane. When you stand up there is nothing to hold onto get and keep your balance. We clung to the railing with both hands getting to our seats and again returning to the level after the concert - it's that scary! I heard many people around me commenting on how steep the climb was to get back to the floor after the concert and stopping to catch their breath when they got to the top. The only plus is that the acoustics were great - although the performers, even on the giant TV screens - are tiny. Concert organizers, especially for classic rock acts, should keep in mind the age of the audience and that we will have health and mobility issues. This is the third concert I've attended there. Each time I hoped it would get better. In the future I will drive to Cleveland (2 1/2 hours) to see a concert before I will go back the PPG.

  • 200 Level Attack Corners and Endzone (Hockey)

    -

    Corner seating on the Upper Level gives hockey fans good value for the money thanks to elevated views and unique perspective that allows you to follow all facets of the game. Novice fans may struggle with the non-traditional views, and the far goal may be too difficult to see at times. Penguins fans will want to stick near the net where the Pens attack twice (Sections 205-209 and 213-217), with the best options being found in Sections 216-217 thanks to the head on views of the players and coaches on the bench.  

  • Upper Level Corner (Basketball)

    -

    Like most upper level sections, the corner seats have 15 rows of lettered seating. These seats offer far-away views of the court that generally match their price-tag. The best views will come from Sections 206, 216, 223 and 233 where the basket is least obstructive and the angle to center court is best. The entrance to each section located at the top, so fans who have trouble with stairs will want to avoid lower rows. 

  • Upper Level Corner (Concert)

    -

    Corner sections in the upper level are often-times the cheapest concert tickets at Consol Energy Center. Among these corner sections, 208, 209, 213 and 214 will provide the best views even though they are farther from the stage than adjacent corner sections.
