Less than 10% of seats at Vanderbilt Stadium offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. The Endzone sections are made up of two distinct locations. On the south side of the stadium there are the traditional reserved seating in sections H-O, with all sections having 44 rows of seating. Section O is one of the sections that makes up the student section. On the north side of the field there is the North Hill seating. The North Hill is a general admission section that features lawn style seating right behind the north endzone.
The Sideline sections at Vanderbilt Stadium have the most rows of any sections in the stadium, with no section having less than 53 rows. Student seating cane be found in sections P and Q, while the visiting team's fans sit in sections U and V. Vanderbilt Stadium is mostly bench style seating with no back support, but in sections C, D, and E bleacherback style seating can be found in rows 11-39.
