Wrigley Field

"Perfect for the fan who doesn’t want to be disturbed"

Seat Review From Section 229, Row 2, Seat 1
Jun 2019

Comments

Anytime I visit Wrigley Field, I make it a point to get this seat. Seat 1 in rows 1-3 in section 229 sits flush against a rail meaning it’s a single seat with no other seats directly to the right or left. I absolutely love this because I hate standing up and down to let people through the skinny isles in the middle of innings. This way, I can sit back, relax, and enjoy the game with little interruptions. The view isn’t the best but the perk of sitting alone in such a large stadium is 100% worth it. I’m also covered from the sun and (god forbid) the rain. Part of me doesn’t want to share this information because these seats are such a secret pleasure, but I’m in a good mood today! Sit here if you ever want to attend a game alone AND in peace.

Best for... watching the game, being in the shade

Avoid if... you are bringing the family, climbing stairs is difficult

    Very nice seats

    Oct 2015

    Section 229, Row 15, Seat 2

We lucked out as the post didn't really obstruct our view, but as an FYI - my friend in seat 4 couldn't see 2nd base.

    • "Awesome 200 Level Aisle"

      (Section 227) - -

Row 1 could get distracted by fans passing by, but not in row 2. You get just enough height to see over fans walking between the 100 and 200 sections. The aisle is to the right so the people walking by won't block your view. They're the perfect seats!

    • "First Row Behind the Aisle"

      (Section 205) - -

If you're looking for extra leg room you'll get it in the first row of the 200 sections. We had a ton of room between our seats and a railing. There's two reasons I don't give these seats 5 stars - the aisle and location. There are a lot of people that walk by and breifly block your view. It's d...

    • "Unsatisfactory Fan Experience"

      (Section 226) - -

I traveled from Washington DC to attend my first game at Wrigley Field on 7/23/17. From these seats, it was difficult to follow the game. One seat (12, I think) had a totally obstructed view of the pitchers mound so you could not anticipate when the ball would arrive at the batter's box. Ther...
