Guaranteed Rate Field

"Baseball Fan's Dream!!"

Seat Review From Section 135, Row 3, Seat 5
Jul 2017

Comments

Not only are these seats impressively close to the field, but you also get a pretty amazing view while being right on top of the action!

One of the unique benefits here is that you get great elevation over the fans sitting in front of you in Row 2. For some reason, there is an extra bit of height between rows when sitting in rows 1-4 as opposed to being in rows 5 and higher, which is a great perk when you're already so low to the field.

Phenomenal straight ahead views of home plate, and incredibly close to the White Sox dugout as well as the home team on deck circle. On the rare occasion that I do get to sit this close, I tend to worry about the safety netting being a distraction and having less than ideal overall views to the entire field of play, but neither were issues from here. Also had great sight lines right into the visitor dugout if you're into that.

Probably the only downfall here is the mini-marathon needed to get to and from the concourse which is more than a 30 row walk! But once you finally make it up there, you're right by a delicious smelling churro stand, a Revolution Brewing cart with tasty beers, a Majestic team store, and believe it or not, both a women's and a men's room just steps away. Full/permanent concessions are available just a few sections down the third base line, so its no sweat if you want a bit more variety.

Overall, I can't say enough about these seats, and would absolutely recommend them for any baseball fan that wants a truly memorable experience at Guaranteed Rate Field!

Best for... watching the game, being close to the action, impressing a guest

Avoid if... you do not want a sun burn

    Stunning Views of the Infield

    Aug 2018

    Section 135, Row 2, Seat 4

I bought these seats for Michael Kopech's Sox debut, hoping to get a good view of his full arsenal - and they delivered. Absolutely phenomenal views of the mound and everything happening at home plate. They were a bit pricier than seats just a few rows up, but being in the second row at field level was worth it. Biggest drawback? The Sox on-deck batter might get in your way sometimes. But that's the price you pay for sitting so close.

    • "Shade by 3pm"

      (Section 120) - -

Great seats behind the visitor dugout. Shade by 3pm, which was a real blessing on this scorcher of a day @ 86 degrees. Very tasty shaved ice stand at top of section helped us keep cool, too. Restrooms were close and ramp for exit was right there, too. Would definitely return to this section.

    • "Maybe the Best Seats in the Stadium!"

      (Section 136) - -

I've sat everywhere at U.S. Cellular Field. On this particular night, the forecast called for tornadoes and a lot of rain. This meant cheap tickets and unbelievable seats in Section 136. Section 136 is between home and the Sox dugout on the 3B side of the field. Your view of the batter/pitcher ex...

    • "Great seats! Close to action"

      (Section 130) - -

Row 18 has 10 seats. Aisle only on seat 1. Seat 10 is against a wall and railing. Restrooms right above the section stairs.
