Guaranteed Rate Field Field Level Down the Line Seating

Sitting Here for a Baseball Game

The biggest complaint with seating down the lines at U.S. Cellular Field is the angle towards home plate. Seats further down the line face the outfield too much and will have you turning your body to see the batter-pitcher exchange. To make the angle less severe, consider sitting in a higher row. Your view will be more comfortable and you will be closer to the concourse.

Seats down the right-field line will get the shade first, while seats down the left-field line will have the best view of both color scoreboards. As of 2019, netting has been added down the lines which severely limits the foul balls in sections 116-118 and 146-148 (previously foul ball havens).

Most sections in this area include 35-38 rows of seats with the higher rows being covered by the club level. And most rows have fewer than ten seats per row (exceptions include sections close to the foul poles).  -

      (Section 111) - -

The seats had a nice view and in a 90 degree game like today you need the shade. Unfortunately, most fans were quiet and there were a lot of open seats.

    • "Comfortable Spot, Decent View"

      (Section 117) - -

Last row in the section. Completely covered by the overhang and totally shaded for a 1pm game. There was even a bit of a breeze back here blowing from the concourse. For being the last row, the view wasn't that bad. The seats are slightly angled towards the infield unlike some other areas of the ...
