About the Seats
This review is for the 2013 McDonald's All American Game at the United Center.
These particular seats are pretty good as far as corner seats go. They are right in the middle of the row, so you'll want to make friends with the people on the aisle to avoid nasty looks and groans if you get up to get concessions and go to the restroom. Normally, these club seats come with in-seat wait service, but that was not offered for this high school game. Never-the-less, the lines for concessions and restrooms is much lighter than on the 300 level. So if you can get out of the row quickly, there are very few stairs to get to the tunnel so grabbing a quick snack and getting back to the seats is doable during a long timeout.
The view from these seats is pretty good. There is a glass partition that can easily be seen through if you sit back in your chair. Seat 8 is better than Seat 7 because the curve of the section is right at Seat 7. The glass splits in front of Seat 7 and can be somewhat of a distraction to some people. In terms of corner seating, it's a lot better than sitting in the 300 level, though seats closer to mid-court are ideal.
There are no cupholders, though a thin ledge in front of you was adequate for putting your cell phone on if you didn't want to keep it in your pocket. It was a small thing, but was also very handy....More
