"Amazingly close but terrible field views"

Seat Review From Field 5, Row 1, Seat 16
Sep 2014

Comments

My seat was on the aisle and at the very front row behind the visiting team bench. It was pretty amazing to be this close to the field and the players, but the seats are just entirely way too low to be able to see anything at all. For a chargers fan looking to watch the game, these seats are not ideal as all you can really see is the visting team bench and all the team equipment which blocks out much of the view near the 50 yard line.
The seats look and feel old, but are decently comfortable. The front row however has a guard railing that is located just in front of the seats, taking away a good portion of the legroom and making the seats more cramped for taller fans such as myself. If you are expecting a great viewing experience near midfield, don't sit in the front row.

Best for... being close to the action, visiting team fans

Avoid if... you want to watch the game, you consider yourself "Big" and "Tall", climbing stairs is difficult

Expected more from lower level 50 yard line

Sep 2014

Field 5, Row 14, Seat 16

At seat 16 I was just 3 seats from the aisle at the right side of the section, which would have put my directly on the 50 yard line. With the midfield seating position, and more than halfway up the section in Row 14, I thought these seats would be some of the best around, but was very disappointed in the view of the field.
Don't get me wrong, the proximity to the field was great and it felt incredibly close to the visiting team sideline. But with very little height to see over the players and a bunch of random equipment, it was very hard to follow the game. Antennas from camera equipment, kicking nets, wind fans, sideline personnel ... all are located right there in front of you blocking what I was hoping would be a great view near the middle of the field.

  • "Very sunny at the top row"

    (Field 2) - -

Once I finally made it through the long creepy tunnel to get to my section, the seat was right near the entry which was a bonus that I didn't have to walk too far down the aisle. Aside from being close to the entrance, the viewing height was also much better here than in the lower rows, which sit m...

  • "Could use some more height above the sideline"

    (Field 8) - -

Good views of both sides of the field from right at the 25 yard line. I was 4 seats off the aisle at the left side of the row, which made it very easy to get to the seats once I made my way through the cavernous tunnels that bring you to the Field level sections along this sideline. Some of the ac...

  • "Affordable tickets, great view"

    (Field 33) - -

These seats give a great, unobstructed view of both progress down the field and scoring plays. The fans around us were friendly...and loud. We all stood up for most of the game, so anyone sitting down might not be able to see the action on the field.
