Row D in seating behind the basket is really like being in 17th or 18th row because there is double-lettered seating AA-NN before rows A-N. I don't really like being behind the basket because it really gets in the way. Seat 4 isn't directly behind the basket (seat 9 or 10 is), but it still gets in the way of action on the near half of the court. Surprisingly, though, you have a pretty good view of the other side of the court. I think the height of being in this row helps. Being in the double-lettered rows might not be high enough for a good view + those seats are on junky foldable chairs. These seats were permanent and more sturdy.
The ground here is metal so it does get loud if people are stomping their feet. You're facing the band and student section which gives a pretty good entertainment value when the action on the court is stopped.
Overall, I'd rather sit in a corner section or the 200 level for the same price. But this side of the court is close to the main entrance, so it is pretty convenient to get in and out.
