Joe Louis Arena Upper Level Corner Seating

Sitting Here for a Hockey Game

Corner seating on the upper tier gives fans good elevation to see most areas of the ice, and a unique perspective that allows you to enjoy all facets of the game. Redwings fans should limit their search to Sections 211A-212C and 217A-218B as these seats will keep you closest to the net where the Wings attack in the 1st and 3rd periods.

Sections here are larger than on the lower level with up to 27 numbered rows of seating. Section entry tunnels are located at the very front, leaving the longest walks and furthest views for fans in the back rows.  -

Ratings, Reviews & Recommendations

  • "Not bad for nosebleeds"

    (Section 212C) - -

The action is obviously a little far away from the upper levels, and we were almost to the top. But we could still see the entire rink, and there was no obstruction to the view. It's hard to find bad seats at the Joe.

  • "Great seats, could see everything"

    (Section 211B) -
  • "Can see the play develop"

    (Section 218B) - -

If you want the ice level experience you need to get up front in the lower level (at nearly twice the price). But if you want an overall view of the action with the ability to see the play develop the first ten rows of the upper sections is the place to be.
