"Sideline SROs - No Overhang"

Seat Review From Section 127, Row SRO
Sep 2013

Comments

This was a unique place to stand and watch the game from the top of the sideline sections as there is no overhanging deck above leaving you exposed to the open air. Being free from any overhangs made it feel more open, however both videoboards were blocked and if it had been raining I probably wouldn't have stuck around. But the weather was nice so standing here wasn't too bad, and while the ushers were pretty strict about standing behind the red line near the start of the game, they eased up quite a bit towards the end and I was able to lean up against the guard rail just in front.

Best for... fans on a budget

Avoid if... you want to watch the game, you're bringing the family

Staring Directly Down the Goalline

Sep 2013

Section 127, Row 14, Seat 15

Forget about needing a replay to figure out of the ball crossed the plane on scoring play, I would have been the first one to know. Just on the goal line made it feel super close to the endzone and it was pretty exciting when the play approached our endzone. At 14 rows up we had great elevation and views to most areas of the field, but our seats were somewhat awkwardly towards the near 20 yard line rather than midfield. Great views of both videoboards and the visiting team bench as well.

  • "Almost too close to the field"

    (Section 110) - -

These seats have a real cool factor to them. You're almost right on the 50 yardline and you can hear the players talking on the sideline. They can also certainly hear you, even though you're likely to be ignored. If you're trying to impress someone, this is where you sit. The only issues are that...

  • "Exciting and Close to the Field"

    (Section 133) - -

Right in line with the 25 yard line with great elevation and nice angle of the seats so I could see everything without moving around much. Both scoreboards in the endzones were clearly visible and made it easy to catch the replays on either end of the field. Made me feel very close to the field an...

  • "Absolutely Perfect on Pats Sideline"

    (Section 110) - -

These seats are at the 49 yardline and are at the perfect height to see a game at Gillette Stadium. Beats being at home and watching the game on TV because you're behind the Patriots sideline and you can see everything going on there at all times. It's about 15 rows up to concessions and restroom...
