You can get very close to the court in some areas of the lower level sections behind the baskets, however these baseline sections are also home to some of the more difficult views for a basketball game at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
At the front of the sections are the premium Courtside Club seats, located in Rows FL1-FL3. Aside from being just a few feet from the court, fans here will have access to an upscale lounge and will be treated to in-seat wait service.
The lower level baseline sections then continue with regular (non-premium seating) starting with Row AA closer to the front, and ending with single lettered rows at the very back of the sections. To avoid sitting directly behind the basket where the views are most limited by the basket support structure, opt for the lower numbered seats in Sections 110 and 120 or the higher numbered seats in Sections 101 and 111 (these will be closer to the corners where the viewing angles are less obstructed).
Sections here are the largest of any at Chesapeake Energy Arena with up to 33 rows of seating, and with entry tunnels are located at the very top it leaves the longest walks to and from the seats for fans closest to the court. Double lettered rows are closer to the action, but will also have less elevation between rows, making it more difficult to see over taller fans in the row just in front.
If you prefer a clearer view and easy access to and from the seats, opt for the single lettered rows which keep you closer to the entry tunnel and provide good seating elevation over the seats in front.
