"Sit lower if you can"

Seat Review From Section 402, Row 27, Seat 27
Aug 2013

Comments

It feels like you're sitting in the heavens so far up, but the seats are far from heavenly. Row 27 is wayyy up there! If you sit in these seats, don't plan on moving for the whole game. If you go down to get food or go to the bathroom, you're risking your life up and down the stairs. It's not that bad, but pretty close. In the winter months, wear a big coat and wedge yourself in.

Seat 27 is on the right aisle, closer to the 25 yardline. The row spans all the way from the 25 to the 35, so your view is dependent on which side of the row you're on. Seeing everything is not a problem, it just seems really far away.

There is a food stand right at the base of the section. So your best bet is to grab food before the game and only have to make on trip up. You won't want to go back down anyways -- the food options are weak at best.

Don't even think about bringing kids or elders up this far. They won't forgive you.

Avoid if... you want to watch the game, you're bringing the family, you consider yourself "Big" and "Tall"

    (Section 404) - -

Caption says it all. These are getting way up there. Can make you dizzy if you're afraid of heights. If you're not, you get a corner view of the whole field from pretty far away. These seats were in the middle of the row. If you're sitting way up here, spend a couple extra bucks to sit on the aisle.

  • "Fits the definition of a nosebleed seat"

    (Section 451) - -

The upper deck at Fedex Field was very high up, and while it allowed for unobstructed views to all areas of the field, it wasn't much fun being so very far away from the action. The 2 jumbotrons were not in the easiest of positions for viewing, and the seats faced straight forward down the 15 yard ...

  • "Disappointing upper level seats at midfield"

    (Section 428) - -

Section 428 put me right at mid-field but I was disappointed when I got to my seat as a plexiglass barrier and a handrail took up half of the field. Its not terribly difficult to see through the glass, however it just makes you feel less connected to the game, and leads to a lot of leaning around t...
