    Worth It - Side Stage

    Mar 2019

    Concert Review
    Section 115, Row P, Seat 2

Got this ticket last minute. It was disclosed as a side stage, which it was but it also was extremely close! The band interacted with my section several times. For a ticket that was discounted as a bad or undesirable view I loved it.

    • 100 Level Attack Corners (Hockey)

      -

Corner seating on the lower level offers great views for the experienced hockey fan, as it combines both the goal to goal action with the cross ice movement and passing. The views are much less traditional than what you typically see in a TV broadcast, but allow you to really appreciate the speed and complexity of the game. Pens fans will want to find themselves in either Sections 104-105 or 109-110 where you'll be closest to the net where the Penguins attack during both the 1st and 3rd periods. Sections have up to 24 lettered rows of seating, with Row A being closest to the glass. For the shortest walks to and from the seats and best seating height for following the action, we recommend opting for seats near the top of the sections.

    • Lower Level Corner (Basketball)

      -

While corner seats are an inexpensive way to sit on the lower level, these seats have some serious flaws for basketball games. In particular, the angle towards the court in Sections 104, 110, 115 and 121 is terrible. These seats are setup for hockey where the important action extends down into these corners. But for basketball, you want to be angled more towards center court. When seated in the lower rows of the afore-mentioned sections, you'll have to turn your head to see the action.

    • Lower Level Corner (Concert)

      -

Corner sections typically provide a cheaper alternative to side sections with a better angle towards the stage. Unfortunately, the corner sections at the Consol Energy Center weren't built this way. The seats in Sections 104-105 and 109-110 have very poor angles towards an end-stage, leading to uncomfortable views from far away. If you're set on buying cheap lower level tickets, Sections 106-108 are the way to go.

    • For Hockey - Recommended For Kids and Family

      -

Right by a Kids Zone area that has interactive and educational activities for children. Great way to entertain children either before or during the game. Right by a lot of concessions, including the only Kids concessions stand in the whole stadium
