Courtside sections 1, 12, 13 and 24 occupy the first three rows of seating behind each basket. So although row AA is the first row in sections 112 and 113, it is actually four rows from the court.
Sitting behind the baskets allows fans to have a comfortable head on view which requires no head turning at all, but comes at the price of potential viewing limitations due to the basket structure. To avoid being directly behind the hoop and have clearer lines of sight, opt for the higher numbered seats in Sections 101 and 113 or the lower numbered seats in Sections 112 and 124.
Seating begins with double lettered rows closest to the court (Row AA), followed by the single lettered rows in the back. Fans who often struggle to see over other taller fans in front will be wise to avoid the closer seats (double lettered rows) as the elevation between seating rows is much shallower compared to the higher options in the section.
Some of our favorite options in this area are found in Section 113 Rows P and higher. You\'ll have a great view of the Mavs bench, close access to the concourse, and a better seating height for seeing over fans in front (just be sure to stick to the higher seat numbers which are closer to the corner rather than directly behind the basket).
