Red Rocks Amphitheatre features 70 rows of bench style seating. Depending on the shows the reserved rows will change. The first and last rows of seating are wheelchair accessible, while the rest of the rows will fall in the reserved or GA categories. When sitting in the reserved sections there will not be any seat backs, but plenty of leg room.

Sitting at the top of the amphitheater provides the best views of the surrounding landscape - a scene that is well worth the hike even if you're not sitting at the top. Sitting closer to row 1 will provide better views of the stage and limit the number of stairs you'll have to climb. Whether you're at the top or the bottom, Red Rocks is well-known for high quality acoustics in all of its seats.

At its widest part, there are 153 seats across and at the narrowest part there are 86. The best seats are found in the center of venue where the view is head-on and the angle to the stage is ideal. Avoid seats 1-15 and 70 and above in the first 10 rows. Despite being close to the stage, these seats have some of the more extreme angles to the stage and you may be left looking at the screens all night.

Red Rocks features a generous list of permitted items. Soft-side coolers, blankets, sealed water bottles, food and seat backs are all allowed inside the venue. Food must be placed in a clear plastic bag, while seat backs can be no more than 18 inches wide or have legs.

This past Friday was my first time at Red Rocks for the Anderson Paak show. I was absolutely blown away. Red rocks certainty lives up to the hype. Cheeky Andy had the entire crowd dancing throughout the whole show, I was exhausted by the end. I will say, I wish our seats would have been slightly clo...
