  • Section 223 Reviews

Popular section with the visiting team

    Sep 2013

    Section 223, Row 3, Seat 14

Awesome views of Roethlisberger and the Steelers during warmups, and a good overall view of the field from right at the 30 yard line. There were a lot of Steelers fans nearby so it was easy to tell this was a popular choice with the visiting fans. But even for a Redskins fan these seats were a great viewing option as both ends of the field felt very close and nothing stood out to significantly block the view. I was able to stay in touch with the game no matter where the ball was and didn't have to rely on the replay videoboard to fill in any gaps.

Avoid Section 223 Due to Potential Obstructions

Obstructed seating at FedEx Field is a major issue for football games. Seeing long passes, kicks and the scoreboards is difficult from 200-level sections on the North side of the field.

The upper deck hangs over the back part of sections 213-230. Rows 14-23 are the most obstructed and the level of obstruction becomes more severe the farther back you are.

    • 200 Level

      -

The 200 Level at FedExField contains a combination of the best and worst views for Commanders games and concerts. Best Views in the Stadium  Some of the best views in the stadium come from the first 8 rows in sideline sections on this level. These seats are 30-40 rows from the field and are an excellent choice for guests who like to keep a close eye on the game. Worst Views in the Stadium  If you're thinking about sitting in one of the higher rows on this level, use caution. At row 9: guests start to notice the overhang At row 11: the overhang starts to obstruct views of the field At row 14: views of the field become severely obstructed  We strongly advise against purchasing tickets in one of the obstructed rows. Some views are partially blocked, while the worst seats can barely see much of anything.

Midfield views along the visitor's sideline. At rows 1-6 you'll be safely in-front of the 200 level viewing obstructions . Optimal seating height for following the action on the field

    • Recommended For Great Views of the Field

      -

Close to midfield with excellent viewing height. Avoid the obstructed views when sitting in rows 1-7. Easy access to and from the seats
