On either side of the ballpark are views into the batting cages where players will occasionally warm up before games. The Texas Rangers cages will be on the first base side and the Kansas City Royals cages will be on the third base side.
Fans looking to go to the restroom at Surprise Stadium, they will find them on the back end of the concourse. On the way back to their seats they will pass concessions and ATM machines that are also located on the concourse.
There is a slight overhang above the back rows of the infield sections. Due to the low height, seats located in rows behind row N will usually see good protection from the sun.
Directly behind home plate is an overhand that covers up to row P. Later in the day these sections see more shade, but will be in the sun early in the day.
If you need some time to sit down and eat there is a patio on the right field side of the stadium for fans to relax.
The Kansas City Royals batting cages are located on the third base side of the stadium.
The first base side in the infield at Surprise Stadium will see the most shade during a day baseball game.
Located behind home plate are the suites at Surprise stadium.
