RYS Expert Reviews

Field Level

(2026 Review) - Closest to the Action: The Field Level covers all 100-Level sections, putting fans right down near the field for any event.  Row Layout: Most sections run 36 rows, lettered A (closest to the field) through Z, then double-lettered AA to JJ (farthest back).  Sightline Tip (Football): Choose row Q or higher to see over the players standing on the sideline.  Rodeo Action Seats: During the Rodeo the 100-Level extends by eight rows, adding "action seats" that bring fans even closer.  Who Should Sit Here  The Field Level at NRG Stadium is for fans who want to be as close to the action or the show as possible. It works well for football games, the Rodeo, concerts, and just about any event on the field. If proximity matters most to you, this is where you want to be.  Field Level Seating Details  The Field Level is made up of all 100-Level sections at NRG Stadium, wrapping the field at the lowest tier. Most sections contain 36 rows, lettered from A closest to the field up through Z, then continuing with double-lettered rows AA to JJ at the back. Entry tunnels are located at the top of each section, so fans seated closest to the bottom face the longest walk down to their seats. For football, sections 105-108 are positioned behind the home team bench.  Views from the Field Level  These seats deliver a close-up, ground-level view of the action. Keep in mind that from the lower rows near the sideline, players standing on the field can block your view during football games. Sit in row Q or higher to see over the sideline and trade a little proximity for a clearer, more complete look at the field.  Good to Know  If you're attending the Rodeo, look for the "action seats" — the eight extra rows added to the 100-Level during that event put you closer to the floor than standard football seating allows.

Field Level Sideline (Basketball)

- The field level sideline sections undergo the biggest transformation for a basketball game at NRG Stadium. Riser seating is put in place to accommodate more seating down towards the court, but has less elevation and spacing between seating rows than the traditional row structure at NRG Stadium. These sections contain up to 80 rows of seating, starting with the riser seating in front (Rows 1-44), followed by single lettered rows (A-Z), and ending in double lettered rows (AA-JJ). The lettered rows are comprised of the traditional seating structure, creating more elevation to see over the fans in front. These sideline sections will be among the most sought after thanks to excellent views along the sideline and close proximity to the floor. Fans can sit on the east sidelines to be closest to the player benches (Sections 125 and 128), while sitting on the west sideline provides a head-on view to the players and coaches.

Seating Notes

  • For football games, these seats are located behind the visitor sideline
  • For football games, we recommend rows S-Z, AA-EE for great views of the field
  • For football games, desirable view from near midfield
  • Views from near center court for basketball games
