If I buy seats in section 309 (head-on view), will there be a screen to watch or will it obstruct the view of the stage?

Hello and thank you for your question! For Ariana Grande's tour in the upper level at the United Center, obstructions will depend mostly on the row. The entire stage will be visibile to all fans in the crowd. As you get higher in the arena, production equipment could block a portion of the screen located behind the stage. This screen is mostly used for production elements like video imagery. It is not used to project what is happening on stage. For better views of what is happening on stage, there will be smaller screens located off to the side.

You can expect your view to look similar to the photo above.
