Minute Maid Park

How wide are the seats at Minute Maid Park?

Can you get a bigger seat in more expensive sections?

Most seats at Minute Maid Park are standard stadium-sized, roughly 19 inches in width. The common seats has a small armrest on each side which forces you to squeeze into the chair.

While most seats at Minute Maid aren't blue and red, most are roughly 19 inches wide with a small armrest

Diamond Club seats - those located behind home plate - are larger than the standard stadium seat and offer more padding and higher back support. However, those tickets are rarely available to non-season-ticketholders and are very expensive when they do come up for sale.

If you are worried about fitting into one of the standard stadium chairs, we recommend contacting the Astros directly to inquire about tickets in accessible seating areas. With a ticket in one of these rows, you'll be able to sit on a folding chair without arm supports squeezing you in and will have more space between you and the guest next to you.
