Less than 10% of seats at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. To search for tickets or to find out if your seats are protected from the sun or rain, follow the link for the seat finder.
Seats in the 100 level sideline section put fans in one of the furthest spots from the all the action on the field. However there are still good options to be found here, most notably in Rows 1-10 of Sections 103-107 where ticket holders are treated to near midfield views and chairback seats.
For those looking to find a cheap ticket for an Oklahoma football game, some of the more affordable options will be found in Sections 101-102 and 108-109. You won't have a chairback seat, midfield views, or the extra shade cast by the press box (which is a huge plus for those seated in Sections 104-106), but you'll probably find a more budget friendly price tag when it comes time to purchase.
Sections in this location have between 34 to 42 rows of seating in each, with entry tunnels located just above Row 8.
200 Level Sideline Seating
When deciding whether or not to go with seats in the 200 Level Sideline, there is one big trade off to consider: Is it worth battling the sun for an affordable chairback seat? All sections in this upper tier location along the east sideline feature chairback seating throughout, but these seats will also see the most sun of any area at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Even from the upper most seating tier, there are still good views to be had in Sections 229-232 where fans will be closest to midfield. Sections here have up to 30 numbered rows of seats, with entry tunnels located just above Row 5.
Lower Level Corner Seating
The fans sitting in the Lower Level Corner seating location are in a great place to watch the action. These seats keep fans close to the field and provide some of the very best views of touchdowns and scoring plays at the near endzone.
The opposite side of the field can be more difficult to see, especially from the lower rows of the sections which extend all the way down to field level as the lack of seating elevation makes it a challenge to see over the players, team personnel, and equipment along the sidelines.
While not as large as the neighboring sideline sections, these areas can have up to 62 rows of seating, again leaving the longest walks for those in the back rows. Fans that are looking for relief from the sun won't find much in these seats, but will want to opt for the northwest corner (Sections 11-14) where the sun will be at your back earlier.
The new south endzone corner sections (reconstructed for the 2016 season) feature ADA accessible seating between the lower and upper portions of the sections.
Lower Level Endzone Seating
The sections closest to the action behind the endzones combine to form the Lower Level Endzone seating location. These sections are very large with 72 numbered rows in most areas, which makes it a big difference between sitting in the front and sitting in the back. Sections 15 and 21 are the exceptions here as they only have 44 rows of seating, starting with Row 29 at the front and ending at Row 72 in back.
Entry tunnels are located between Rows 28 and 29, so fans that want to avoid long walks up and down the aisle should look for seats in Rows 20-40. North endzone fans will have the advantage of a head on view to the large videoboard at the south endzone, which will certainly be appreciated in the upper rows where the views of the opposite endzone can be difficult.
Lower Level Sideline Seating
With lower level views and the potential for seating right at midfield, the Lower Level Sideline sections are among the best in the house for watching a Sooners Football game.
Fans on the west side of the stadium (Sections 1-10) will find themselves closer to the Oklahoma team sideline, and will also benefit from getting the sun at their back sooner during day games. East sideline seats will see more of the sun throughout the day, and are located behind the visiting team sideline (Sections 26-35).
Sections in this area are among the largest in the stadium, with up to 72 numbered rows of seating in each. Entry tunnels are located between Rows 28 and 29, leaving the longest walks for fans in the upper most seating rows.
To search tickets in these seats, select an event and apply the filter labeled Partying and Socializing.
