Texas Tech Sideline & Visitor Sideline
Texas Tech Sideline - The Texas Tech sideline is in front of Section 4, Section 5 and Section 6
Visitor Sideline - The visiting team sideline is in front of Section 18, Section 19 and Section 20
When looking for tickets at Jones AT&T Stadium, fans should consider two things: location and comfort.
Comfort Options
About half the stadium is chairback seating. Fans should filter down to seats with backs if they do not want to sit on a bench for the entire game.
Club seats are also a good option for watching the Red Raiders in action. There is a club located above the 100-level on both sidelines.
Good View and Location
Sitting at midfield is a good location and some also offer good comfort. Fans who want a good view of every play should look at the following sections:
These sections can see both sides of the field well.
Texas Tech Sideline - The Texas Tech sideline is in front of Section 4, Section 5 and Section 6
Visitor Sideline - The visiting team sideline is in front of Section 18, Section 19 and Section 20
Sections 13-17 and 20-28 are designated for Texas Tech students.
The lower endzone sections are the only seating options for fans looking to sit behind the goal lines. These seats provided a good view of the sideline to sideline action, but do not provide the traditional perspective you would have when watching on TV.
Sections in the south endzone are typically designated for Student seating, providing a louder and energetic atmosphere, and have the best head on views of the main videoboard located above the north endzone. South endzone sections feature between 16 and 33 numbered rows of seats, with the larger sections being closer to the sidelines.
At the north endzone, fans will have a difficult time seeing the main videoboard behind them, but is a good place for visiting fans as Section 13 is generally reserved for visiting team ticket allotment. Sections in the north endzone have 33 numbered rows of seating in each.
The lower level sideline sections offer some of the best views at Jones AT&T Stadium thanks to a lower level seating position and good proximity to midfield.
On the west sideline, Sections 3-7 feature chairback seating for the most comfortable option, while Sections 1-2 and 8-10 also offer some back support in the form of backed bleacher seating.
Most sections in the lower sideline contain 33-34 numbered rows of seats, with the 50 yard line sections (Section 5 and 19) being slightly larger with 38 rows. Entry tunnels are located at the top of the sections, leaving the longest walks down the aisle for the fans in the closest rows to the field.
Home to the furthest views, the Upper Corner sections are located on the second seating tier near the north endzone. These seats are a good option for visiting team fans, as the majority of the seats in this area are designated for the visiting team ticket allotment (Sections 110, 111, and 113-115).
While high and far compared to some of the seats on the lower sideline, the views are still decent from these seats thanks to the upper tier not being set too far back from the field. However fans will struggle to catch the highlights and replays on the main videoboard above the north endzone, with views from Sections 111, 112A, 112B, and 113 being nearly impossible. Sections in this location have up to 34 rows of seating in each, with the entry tunnels located at the very front.
Upper sideline seating offer good views from between the endzones on the second seating tier at Jones AT&T Stadium. While higher up than the lower level, these sections still feel close the the action and are a decent option for watching the game.
West sideline seats will see more shade at the stadium, while the east sideline is better for those who want to stay in the sun. Sections in this location have up to 52 numbered rows of seating.
