Features & Amenities

Reserved seats give fans an assigned row and seat number at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. There are 70 rows of bench-style seating at the theater and some or all of them can be reserved.

The type of seating for each row changes from show-to-show.

Common Reserved Rows at Red Rocks

The rows closest to the stage are typically assigned/reserved seating. The number of rows is dependent on the artist performing that night.

Most common reserved setups include rows:

  • 1-4
  • 1-7
  • 1-47
  • 25-60

With an assigned space near the front of the stage, these tickets are typically the most expensive. Rows that are not reserved are general admission.

Tips for Reserved Seats

  • There are no seat backs, but plenty of leg room
  • Sitting closer to row 1 provides great views of the stage and limits the number of stairs you'll have to climb
  • The top of the amphitheater provides the best views of the surrounding landscape - a scene that is well worth the hike even if not sitting at the top
  • At its widest part, there are 153 seats across and at the narrowest part there are 86
  • The best seats are found in the center of venue where the view is head-on and the angle to the stage is ideal
  • Whether you're at the top or the bottom, Red Rocks is well-known for high-quality acoustics in all of its seats

Reserved Seats to Avoid

Avoid seats 1-15 and 70 and above in the first 10 rows. Despite being close to the stage, these seats have some of the more extreme angles to the stage and you may be left looking at the screens all night.

Note: These seats are highlighted on the map
