Section 15 at Louis Armstrong Stadium

(2026 Review) - Closest seats in the building. Armstrong is a smaller, steeper stadium than Ashe, so even the back rows of Courtside feel tight to the action — you'll hear the ball hit the strings and see the players' footwork in a way you just don't get from the upper levels.  The back rows sit under the Loge overhang, which is hit or miss. Some fans love it — reliable shade on a hot day session and a break from the sun beating down on the lower rows. Others feel the overhang creates a tunnel-vision effect, cutting off the sky and making the stadium feel closed in. If shade matters to you, it's usually a safe bet. If you want the open-air feel, stay in the front half of the section.  Courtside sideline sections give the best view of rallies. Baseline sections are cheaper and put you behind the serve — great for watching pace, tougher for tracking cross-court play.
