Features & Amenities

There are two different types of Floor tickets for concerts at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. The seating chart changes from show-to-show, so it's important to understand the difference between reserved and general admission tickets.

Reserved Sections vs. GA Tickets

Most shows have three reserved Floor sections labeled Left, Center and Right. Tickets in these sections have an assigned row and seat.

Occasionally reserved sections are removed or altered to make way for General Admission (GA) sections. These may occupy the entire Floor or just a small area.

A ticket in a GA section does not have a seat assignment or even a seat to sit on. Instead, guests stand for the duration of the show and must arrive early for first pick on where to stand.
