RYS Expert Reviews

Floor Level

(2026 Review) - Closest Reserved Seats: Six sections located directly near the stage    Comfortable Seating: Stadium-style chairs with backs    Pit in Front (Most Shows): General Admission area separates stage from seating    Best Views = Lower Seat Numbers: Closer to center stage and better sightlines    Seat Strategy Matters: Aim for seats 48 or lower for optimal views      Who Should Sit Here  Floor Level seats are ideal for fans who want to be close to the stage while still having a comfortable, reserved seat. This is a great option for those who want proximity without committing to a standing-room-only Pit experience.    Floor Location & Layout  The Floor Level at Catholic Health Amphitheater at Bald Hill consists of six sections positioned just behind the Pit area.  For most shows, a General Admission Pit is located directly in front of these sections. Behind the Pit, the Floor seating is divided into tiers:  Premium Floor seats: Typically located closer to the front (through around Row R)    Standard Floor seats: Found in Row S and above    All seats in this section are stadium-style with backs, offering a more comfortable experience compared to folding chairs or general admission areas.  Views from Floor Level  Views from the Floor Level are strong overall, especially for seats closer to the front and center.  Because the sections are relatively flat compared to steeper amphitheaters, seat positioning is very important. Fans sitting farther back or off to the sides may experience more limited sightlines due to people in front.  A key factor in view quality is seat number:  Lower seat numbers = closer to center stage = better views    Odd-numbered seats are on the left side when facing the stage    Even-numbered seats are on the right side    Seating Strategy  Choosing the right seat within the Floor Level can make a big difference in your experience.  For the best sightlines:  Target seats numbered 48 or lower for a more centered view    Be aware of aisles located between seat numbers:    23 / 25    24 / 26    47 / 49    48 / 50    Seats near these aisles can offer easier access but may slightly shift your viewing angle depending on position.
