(2026 Review) - Endzone Bleachers: All endzone seating is on backless metal bleachers, behind the goal posts at each end of the field.  Gold Zone (North): The north endzone — Sections A, AA and neighbors — is the Gold Zone, home to alumni and Golden Bears faithful.  Visitor Side (South): Visiting fans sit across the field in Sections N and MM.  Fully Exposed: These seats are heavily exposed to the elements, with no protection from rain or sun.  Who Should Sit Here  The endzone at California Memorial Stadium suits budget-minded fans and those who want to be surrounded by fellow supporters rather than chasing the best sightlines. Cal alumni and Golden Bears die-hards will feel at home in the north-end Gold Zone, while traveling fans have their own home base across the field. Just come prepared for backless bleachers and open-air conditions.  Endzone Seating Details  Endzone seating wraps behind each goal line. The north endzone — the Gold Zone — covers Sections A, AA and the surrounding sections and is geared toward Cal alumni and home supporters. On the opposite side of the field, visitor seating is found in Sections N and MM. All of these are metal bleacher seats without backs.  Views from the Endzone  Both endzones offer just OK views of the field from behind the goal posts, along with head-on looks at the stadium's small videoboards. Sightlines are similar on either end, so the main difference between the two is which crowd you want to sit with.  Sun & Shade  Because these bleachers are fully exposed, plan ahead for the weather — bring a cushion for the backless seats, plus sunscreen or rain gear depending on the forecast, since there's no cover on either side.
