    Cover Sucks

    Dec 2014

    Section 230, Row 21

Whoever designed the sections under the covers should be ashamed. The cover hangs down so far that you cannot see the entire end zone, field goal and score board. One large speaker blocks the view even more. It's obvious they are just trying to pack people in. Once fans stand up to cheer you can't see hardly anything. The low number rows of this section would be fine, anything past row 14 is NOT.

    Endzone seat, decent view

    Sep 2018

    Section 230, Row 5, Seat 18

I was seated in section 230 behind the east end zone and the seat was decent. I could see the entire field which was great, but when the action moved to the west side of the field it was hard to see the action, but when it was on the my side of the field it was awesome!

    You Can See Whole Field*

    Sep 2018

    Section 230, Row 19

*Tunnel vision. These have to be the worst seats in the NFL. The sound is about twice as loud as it should be, you can't see passes or kicks and this is called the Stomping Zone, whatever that means. Sit somewhere else!

Avoid Section 230 Due to Potential Obstructions

Obstructed seating at FedEx Field is a major issue for football games. Seeing long passes, kicks and the scoreboards is difficult from 200-level sections on the North side of the field.

The upper deck hangs over the back part of sections 213-230. Rows 14-23 are the most obstructed and the level of obstruction becomes more severe the farther back you are.

    • 200 Level

      -

The 200 Level at FedExField contains a combination of the best and worst views for Commanders games and concerts. Best Views in the Stadium  Some of the best views in the stadium come from the first 8 rows in sideline sections on this level. These seats are 30-40 rows from the field and are an excellent choice for guests who like to keep a close eye on the game. Worst Views in the Stadium  If you're thinking about sitting in one of the higher rows on this level, use caution. At row 9: guests start to notice the overhang At row 11: the overhang starts to obstruct views of the field At row 14: views of the field become severely obstructed  We strongly advise against purchasing tickets in one of the obstructed rows. Some views are partially blocked, while the worst seats can barely see much of anything.
