any seat at Joe Louis is a good seat though.
The action is obviously a little far away from the upper levels, and we were almost to the top. But we could still see the entire rink, and there was no obstruction to the view. It's hard to find bad seats at the Joe.
Right on the glass. The boards curved right at the seats so we had leg room. Saw a shootout first row
If you want the ice level experience you need to get up front in the lower level (at nearly twice the price) But if you want an overall view of the action with the ability to see the play develop the first ten rows of the upper sections is the place to be.

The lines to the restroom are terribly long, so I reccommend arriving early to take care of business. The facility itself was great, there really isn't a bad seat in the place. The seats themselves are very little and very close together, but they are cushioned and nicer than other venues I've visited.
Sitting this close was awesome. The ice is right there and you don't miss a thing!
Don't know where to sit, need help finding tickets or just need a basic question answered?
