Somewhat obstructed view. Crowd was not very lively and turned around to comment to us that we were being too loud when we were cheering.

Seats in the .406 club. No cheering allowed in this section...? Did not make a whole lot of sense. Good for the corporate crowd but not so much for diehard fans.

  • "It can be brutal sitting in the bleachers because none of the seats are in the shade."Sunscreen and a hat are a necessity for day games.
  • "Sit On the Third Base Side For Shade; Avoid the Outfield"The best seats at Fenway Park for being in the shade are in the Grandstand, especially on the third base side. These seats are covered from the elements even during early afternoon games. If you want to sit closer to the field, sit on the third base side to get the shade first and to have the sun behind you. Avoid the bleachers at all costs for late afternoon and evening games if you are sensitive to the sun.
