"Decent Views For Quasi-Cheap Seats"

Wanted to see a game at Coors Field and not pay a ton. Between their bad 2012 start and craigslist, it was relatively easy to find good seats, reasonably priced, from season ticket holders. For Sec. 204-- Pros: good view of most of field, view of mountains to southwest, smaller section with its own, easily accessed concession stand and bathrooms (though it's as easy to get to main concourse). Box office charged $27 for those seats and we got them for $17. Easy access from Park St./parking on the north end of the stadium.

Cons: Sunny, exposed seats for many game times (we accepted the section because it was overcast), concession stand moderately limited and can be slow for cook-to-order/larger orders, no view of last 1/4 of right and right-center fields and out-of-town scoreboard. Some people like to hang on railing-- which sometimes affects the view from the lower-row seats-- before being chased off by ushers.

This was a 1:10pm game on July 1st. It was nearly 100 degrees and thankfully we were in the shade about 15 minutes after the game started. Row 30 and higher were in the shade the entire time. Ideal to watch every play of the game.

Fan Opinions of the Best Seats at Coors Field

  • "My favorite seats are section 107, 108, 109."Right Field, really fun to sit there, good chance for HR balls.
  • "If you can get the first row in Section 325 there is not a better seat in the house."You are on the third deck but I believe you have the best view of the field and if you are in the first row, no one is in front of you and there is plenty of leg room. There is one thing that makes this section extra special – the view of the mountains. There is nothing prettier than a night game when the sun is setting at Coors Field. From section 325 you will have the ultimate view of God's great work.
  • "The Rockpile (CF bleachers) offer the cheapest seats in MLB."
  • "The angle of the seats makes it difficult to see the batter in 117 and 118."Everyone down there has to lean out of their seat to see the pitch.
  • "Want a home run ball? Sit in Section 152."Players routinely deposit balls into the bleachers in left field and if you sit close to the foul pole you have a good chance to get one of your own.
