What's better than enjoying a Phillies game on a Sunday summer afternoon in the sun? The team is great, the park is great and the food is close.
Unfortunately that experience can be ruined very easily in section 147, especially on Sunday's. In this section you will find some of the most ignorant, obnoxious and rude people at CBP.
There is a group of gentlemen who all know each other and have been
Sunday ticket holders in this section for years. They show up no earlier than the 3rd inning already drunk. They spend the entire game talking loudly about a variety of non-baseball related and vulgar topics, often standing up during game action and sitting in seats that they do not hold tickets for.
The defining statement for the 147 Sunday crew is perhaps the view that the management of CBP has of the section. On Sunday afternoons, alcohol is only sold to this section until the 3rd inning. The section has been deemed too "high risk" for sales later than the first third of the game.
Unfortunately a lot of single game tickets are sold for this section, so if you are considering coming to a game on a Sunday, avoid this place at all costs.
Besides the person that is blocking the view between 1st and 2nd they are pretty good seats.
Fans booed Gay Pride night. On the bright side, the video board here is incredible and all of the seats seem to have an incredible view of the field.
Owned these seats for the last 4 seasons, fantastic.
Owned these seats for the last 5 years. Not as nice as my other seats in the area (about 10 rows away) solely because it's in the middle of the row.
Don't know where to sit, need help finding tickets or just need a basic question answered?
