No matter where you sit, it is always a good seat here. Yes, you can't see a small part of left field, but they were spacious by stadium standards, and had cupholders.

Even though we were at the top we were able to see the field perfectly and didnt feel like we had to squint to see what was going on. Not to mention we were able to get in on the action not once but twice on the big screen!

When they built Citi Field, the view was definitely taken into account. There's not a bad seat in the house. Yes, a small part of left field is obstructed, but that's to be expected sitting in left field. Food is nearby, bathrooms were nearby with no lines, people nearby were fine.

For an inexpensive set of seats, the view was great. Right against the wall of the section above and someone accidentally knocked their beer off the floor there and some spilled on me. Could see everything going on in the game, save for a little part of right field.

Almost in the very last row of Citi Field on a night that was incredibly empty. I can't say much about the seats themselves, because we decided to move up about 12 rows to another set of empty seats. A large group of younger high school students were at the game, and they were kind of annoying. The view isn't necessarily the best, and you have to walk a bit to get a good choice of concessions, but as I've said with my other reviews, guess you get what you pay for. And 15 bucks for a ball game isn't bad.

Fan Opinions of the Best Seats at Citi Field

  • "The best bang for your buck probably lies in sections 509 to 517."The entire view of the field is unobscured. If you're thinking nearly anything beyond the infield of the Promenade section will run the risk of some of the playing area being unviewable.
  • "Seats to avoid: Low rows in the Promenade reserved (501 – 504, 524-528)."In addition to being as far as one can get from most of the better food areas, stairwells will block a large portion of the view, particularly if you are sitting in right field.
  • "Club platinum seats."Immediately behind home plate. They are very close to the action, and essentially look over the umpire's shoulder. They are theater-style, fully upholstered seats with 36 inches of legroom. There are extraordinary amenities such as waiter and waitress services.
  • "Being in the last five rows of the Promenade isn't all bad."Several of the top rows of the stadium are covered by an overhang, meaning you'll stay dry if the umpires decide to play through the rain.
  • "The Third Base Side Gets the First Shade at Citi Field"Seats on the third base side at Citi Field will be in the shade first for late afternoon and evening games. Avoid all seats in right field and down the first base line (104-108) if you are sensitive to the sun. The overhang in the Upper Deck is pretty much worthless on the first base side, so choose upper deck seats on the third base side for better shade.
