Sit on the Third Base Side For Shade at Turner Field
During late afternoon and evening games, the third base side at Turner Field offers your best chance for shade because the sun will be behind you. Terrace level seats, especially on the infield, are your best bet on the lower level. Club level seats are also well-protected from being below the upper deck. The overhang above the upper deck is one of the most substantial in all of baseball, but you still want to be on the third base side (404-422) to stay cool. Avoid all outfield seating, especially in RF (Sections 125-129) if you do not want to sit in the sun. Additionally, seating in rows close to the field on the first base side will deal with the sun for a greater period of time.
