The Dugout Seats are some of the most premium seating options available at Petco Park. Behind home plate are the Lexus Home Plate Club seats which feature plush theater style seats, all-inclusive in-seat food and beverage service including alcohol, and access to the exclusive Lexus Home Plate Club Bar, Restaurant, and Lounge. Just on the outfield side of the Padres dugout are the the First Base VIP Box club seats which come with all-inclusive in-seat food and beverage service which includes beer and wine. The only seats that do not come with club style amenities in this location are sections 8 and 10 just beyond the visitors dugout.

Field Level Infield seats are a great choice for fans that want to be close to the field between the corner bases, but don't want to pay for the upscale club amenities available in the Lexus Club below or the Padres Premier Club above. Sit in Row 8 of section 107 to be directly behind the Padres dugout, or choose row 8 in section 108 to be directly behind the visitors dugout. Seats on the third base side (Padres side) will see the shade first for day games at Petco Park.

The Padres Premier Club is another premium club seating option in the lower tier of the ballpark. These seats offer very good views from the third group of seating behind home plate, and feature top end club conveniences such as in-seat wait service and access to the private Premier Club Restaurant & Bar.

Down the Line seating offers a more affordable option for staying on the Field Level and close the action. Between the corner bases and the foul poles will have fans looking towards home plate from beyond the outfield, and will also give you a better chance at snagging a foul ball. Sections near the foul poles are the furthest in this location, but are angled towards the infield to allow for less head turning during the game. For maximum shade during day games, fans should look for seats on the third base side. The All You Can Eat sections of Petco Park are located in sections 125 and 127 near the right field foul pole.

Terrace Level seating is located on the second tier of Petco Park and offers good views from a slightly elevated perspective. These sections are sought after for their smaller size (most have just 13 rows of seats) and the protection from the overhanging Reserved deck above. Plenty of good views are available in these infield sections, but they will run you a bit more in price than the down the line sections further toward the foul poles. The Terrace VIP sections are located closest to the press box (which is directly behind home plate on this level).

Much like the Terrace Level Infield seats, fans that prefer a smaller seating section will be wise to look here at the Terrace Level Down the Line. With just 13 rows of seating in each section, getting in out for trips to the restrooms and concessions are a breeze from the seats. The views are a bit further from the Terrace Infield seats, but will leave more money in your wallet after your ticket purchase. These seats offer great protection from the sun thanks to the overhanging reserved deck above.

Located on the highest seating tier at Petco Park will give you great views of the left field scoreboard and the San Diego skyline, but views of the field will be some of the furthest in the stadium. In the front of the Upper Reserved Infield location are the Upper Box Infield rows, which are closest to the field in these sections and have no more than 6 rows of seating from the front of this level to the walkway in back which separates the Upper Box from the Upper Reserved portions of these sections.

Separated from the Upper Reserved Infield seating by the Tower Lofts, the Upper Reserved Down the Line section is home to the furthest views in Petco Park. Located on the highest tier of the stadium and furthest from home plate in the inner seating bowl, these seating sections are not recommended for fans that want to stay close to the action. Upper Reserved sections will be closer to third base than the Upper Pavilion which are closest to the foul poles, and at the front of these sections will be the Upper Box Reserved and Upper Box Pavilion. Seats on the right field side will have better views of the scoreboard in left field, but are also some of the worst options for shade. Sit in section 328 for a unique experience next to the historic Western Metal Supply building.

Lower Level Outfield seating are the best options for catching a home run ball at Petco Park. Located just beyond the outfield wall, this seating location will also be closest to the bullpens (both the Padres and visitors bullpens are next to section 134 in left center field). The left field side (also known as Left Field Lower Box) will have some of the most difficult views of the scoreboard, but will have better shade than the sunny right field side. If you can handle the sun on the right field side (also known as the Right Field Lower Box and Right Field Lower Reserved) these seats will be very close to the many fun amenities located in the right field corner which include the USS Midway Museum, Fan Photos, Power Alley, Batting Cage, and Pitching Cage.

Upper Level Outfield are the furthest of any of the outfield seating options and will also see some of the most sun in the highest tier of right field seating. Home runs will be lucky to make it up this far so these are not the best position for bringing a long ball home as a souvenir. Located closer to the field in this location is the Right Field Upper Box, while the Right Field Upper Reserved will be the last rows on this upper tier outfield seating area.

The Outfield Bleachers at Petco Park are some of the most affordable options for attending a Padres game and are a great option for families. The bleacher seats do not have backs, but you can take off your shoes and feel the grass between your toes as these seats are set on top of a grassy park style ground. There is a large sandbox located in front of the bleacher seats that has become a popular areas for kids, and for people that want to feel like they are watching a game from the beach. Located behind the bleacher seating area is the Park at the Park, which is just as it sounds, a park located in the stadium! A great place to relax, socialize, and enjoy a unique viewing experience.
