    • How early should I get to Red Rocks for a general admission concert?

One of the most beautiful outdoor venues in the United States, Red Rocks is known for its beautiful surroundings, unique acoustics and alternative music. The venue itself is 70 rows of head-on seating that elevate away from the stage. At its widest point, more than 150 guests can fit in a single row. In all, Red Rocks holds nearly 10,000 guests.

For guests attending a show at the Amphitheater, it's important to understand the seating layout for your show and plan accordingly. Most shows include some type of general admission seating, and if you have a GA ticket, you may want to arrive early to score the best seats.

      Common Seating Layouts

      • Reserved (all rows)

      • General Admission (all rows)

      • Rows 1-2, 20-48 Reserved

      • Rows 1-47 Reserved

      • Rows 25-60 Reserved

If you have a general admission ticket and prefer to be as close to the stage as possible, we recommend arriving to the venue 2-3 hours before doors open. Doors open for most shows one hour before the show is set to begin, but a general admission line will begin forming well before that time - especially for the most popular concerts.
